How to Apply

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis by the Admissions Committee. After meeting with Dr. Scott to explore the possibility of the BS/MS program, please submit the following to scottj21@msu.edu:

1. Personal statement (1-2 page), explaining why you want to pursue the Master’s in Science from MMG. It is helpful to the committee if you can describe your research background or experience, what you expect to gain from this program, your long-term goals, and how the BS/MS fits into your future academic and/or professional plans.
2. Resume or curriculum vitae (CV)
3. Official MSU transcript
4. Two letters of recommendation sent directly from the letter writers: one from your research professor and a second one from either a research collaborator, course professor, or someone else that can comment on your ability to be successful in a research-based Master’s program.
